Of course, they are on exit!
It is taking a long time, to close, either via a project or by quitting the application.
Projects are intact, but I haven’t seen this in a long time.

I had those, and it turned out that a plugin was the culprit in my case BFD3. I ended up finding it by creating test projects with plugins I usually used and playing with different combos until I came across which one it was. In my case there was an update from Inmusic which solved the issue with BFD3.
This may also be due to the audio interface. We had a similar issue on a Focusrite 2i2. Computer hung on exit - or hung if you weren’t on the computer for 2 hours. When I switched to Presonus, the problem went away. The other computers with various other Presonus are also running.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a plugin.
