Getting Error when trying to launch WaveLabs

Wavelabs was purchased in January and it has been working fine until today. The download assistant said I had an update so I updated. I am currently on a M1 Mac and my Cubase 11 works fine with no issues.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as I have a project I cannot complete with out.

Starting with WaveLab 11.2, you can’t use the USB eLicenser anymore, and your WaveLab authorization my be present in the new Steinberg Activation Manager.

Do you know if that’s where your WaveLab license is? There is/was a process to migrate older eLicenser licenses to the new Steinberg Activation Manager.

They License should have been on the activation but I’m not sure. I’ve had it since 1/16/ 23 near to the beginning of the year. I don’t see it any more on my eLicensor.

What should I do?

Unfortunately I don’t have much trouble with the SAM app so I don’t really know how to troubleshoot it aside from reinstalling it and making sure you’re logged in an seeing a valid WaveLab license in the app before launching WaveLab.

I heard that Steinberg US support has a live chat now (probably just during business hours) and somebody solved a licensing issue within 5 minutes but in general, official Steinberg support is the best place to solve licensing related issues.
