Ghost Controller Data Problem - again

I’ve been unable delete the old controller data you see in the image - it makes playing the piece impossible since I can’t delete it. It doesn’t matter if I delete the notes in the score, the cc data just doesn’t go away. It’s impossible to work with Dorico when this happens.

I’ve read the posts on this issue but the technical discussion is way over my head - I just want to rub the old controller data out - seems simple enough?.

The last time this happened I had to abandon the score and start again - I really don’t want to do this

I realize this probably has a lot of secondary effects if you have already started formatting your score, but would exporting your score as XML and importing into a new file save the notes but eliminate the controller data?

Have you tried Play > Automation > Delete All Automation?
