So I tried working with some snare ghost notes for the first time - and I was pleasantly surprised to fine that when applying the parentheses to snare noteheads, it automatically lowered their velocity. This despite the fact that I’m using my own custom expression map that has nothing in it about ghost notes.
And I found the place in Playback Options to tweak the velocity a bit lower.
