Is it possible to place a floating notehead in parentheses at the end of a glissando, to show the destination pitch, without using any rhythmic duration in the measure?
Welcome to the forum Charles! One way you could do this is using a grace note “based” on the rhythmic position at the end of the gliss (or wherever works), show the grace note to the left of the barline if wanted/required, give the grace note round brackets, hide its stem, and join the start note and grace note with a glissando.
Alternatively, make a hidden 17:16 tuplet and apply Lillie’s method to the final 16th-note, with added manual rescaling.
Thank you, both.
