Glissando in divisi violins shown in Galley View, not in Page View

Hi, Dorico Pro 6.1.10.6078 on MacOS Sequoia 15.7.2.

First violins, divisi each with a glissando mark inserted in Galley View. When switching to Page View (condensing on) the glissando mark disappears (even though it can be heard) – please see the screenshots. Bug?

Hi @enrico_nic, it is always better to attach a Dorico project (a cut-down version).

I cannot reproduce your issue. It looks ok in my reconstruction of your screenshot example:

Hi, thanks for your reply. I upload a cut-down version. Strangely, after deleting all the bars following bar 86, the glissando marks appeared. However, there was another place with the same issue, and after cutting down the project the issue is still present there. In the uploaded project, you can see the ghost-glissando issue for first violins between bars 11 and 12. Thank you in advance for your help.

Ciao @enrico_nic, thank you for the file.

I don’t know what is happening in bar 11-12 (I cannot find any error), but copying the material of the violins from bar 27-28 into bar 11-12 seems to reestablish the gliss.

Maybe someone finds the culprit.

It seems related to the unison in bar 12.

Ciao @Christian_R, thank you for checking. Bars 27-28 correspond to 85-86 in the uncut project. As I wrote in my first post, the issue is present also at 85-86 in the uncut project (although the gliss marks appear by deleting the following bars). Therefore, copying the violins from 85-86 to 69-70 (69-70 corresponds to 11-12 in the cut-down project you’ve checked) will not be a feasible workaround.

If you can live with moving the unison to the next bar, it works.

Hi and thank you for checking, @jesele. Indeed that can be a good workaround. However, that makes me think of a bug if a workaround is needed to show the gliss marks.

Maybe not a bug, but a limitation when handling both condensing and divisi. Probably very complicated. If you have a rest before the unison, it works too, since condensing phrases are between rests. Perhaps a condensing change for the violins will work.

The following is the best workaround I could think of after various attempts.

I shifted the unison instruction to the beginning of bar 87. In this way, for some unknown reason, the gliss marks appeared between bars 85-86. However, as a consequence, the unis. text moved to the beginning of bar 87. Then, because I want the unis. text to be on top of the B quaver at the end of bar 86, I moved it there in Engrave mode.
