Glissando line to a note after a D.S. (no visible target)

[Tried to ask this in the Facebook group, but allegedly my post was rejected]
How can I add a glissando line from the last note before D.S.? As the “target” note is to be found only after jumping back to D.S. it’s lacking a second note to connect to - thus I can’t input it.

I’ve helped myself with

  • adding 2 notes in a 2nd voice
  • make a gliss between these 2
  • suppress their playback
  • suppress their ledger lines and necks
  • set alpha channel of their noteheads to 0
  • adjust the glissando in Engrave mode

Is there a more Dorico way, perhaps even with playback?

Dorico doesn’t handle this kind of situation automatically, and of course we would like it to do so in future. For now, perhaps it would be acceptable to add a visually analogous jazz articulation from the Ornaments panel?

Ah, you’re right, that would have been an easier workaround.
Playback perfection isn’t my main concern, so that’ll sure work for now.
I just wanted to know if there is something I miss.
Thank you very much for answering in the middle of the night and in the midst of all those christmas family events.

Merry Christmas, Daniel!
