I am trying to create a glyph for a custom playing technique by uploading a png file. Once I’m in the custom glyph creation popup, I select “graphic” in the horizontal bar on the right, then “choose”, click the file, and then select “add graphic.” At this point the png does not show up in the preview window, but the grid in the preview window suddenly zooms way out. I’ve tried scrolling all through the zoomed out grid space but I can’t find the graphic I added anywhere. How can I resolve this issue? Thank you in advance for helping.
Hi @orlando_accounts.str, try to scale the item down, a lot, like 20% or something like that: until it will shrink enough to be visible in the window. Sometimes imported graphics are way out of scale, and need to be reduced: before importing into Dorico, or using the Scale functionality of the dialogue. (Also make sure you deleted any prior existing item in that window, clicking on the Bin icon):
