It’s a bit of a bummer Modulators are only track integrated with no track/project cross communication.
For example, the Macro Knob would be very interesting controlling 4 different inserts on 4 different audio tracks while simultaneously controlling an 4 different inserts on 4 different FX tracks.
Project/Global Modulators could be found in the lower zone in a different tab, and the user could have more than 8 if not as many as they want.
Also I would like to see Modulator Quick Controls:
- Track Modulator Quick Controls
- Project Modulator Quick Controls
see here:
Modulators - Allow 1 Control to be chosen to be accessible in Left Zone (Like Quick Controls) - Cubase - Steinberg Forums
If you think about a Eurorack setup, the “modulator” modules aren’t confined to being sent to each sound source, the signals can be split and shared between many.
This also allows for a much more Reaktor/Reason/VCV/Eurorack creation environment.
It opens up some other interesting modules like:
a Buffered Mult with offsets per destination (splitter) to split source modulations to multiple destinations easily,.

I think to build of this Global/Project Modulator concept,
There could be a ‘Portal Module’ that can bridge connections to and from Track Modulators and Project Modulators, as well as perhaps other components of the program (MIDI Internal, MIDI External, Quick Controls, etc)
