Going crazy here!

HELP ! For the life of me, I can’t get any audio signal when trying to record instrument tracks with Cubase 14 ! I used the Steinberg download assistant, I believe that I have downloaded the proper drivers (although that is ambiguous also), I want to use my add-ons like Sonic 7 etc … Where did I go wrong ??? Please help !

Which Audiointerface do you have and which ASIO driver do you use? If you are not sure, please post screenshots of Studio/Studio Setup and Studio/Audio Connections/Inputs + Outputs.
Ah, and which OS are you on of course…

Is this a new phenomenon? Did it work already, or are you new to Cubase?
If yes, have you checked the manual or the Steinberg Youtube Channel for turorials on how to set up Cubase for recording (or some other videos?

Hi Reco ! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly ! I am attaching pics of my input/output boxes. I couldn’ t even find the downloadable drivers for Cubase 14. I am using Windows 11, 64-bit.

It looks like you use a focusrite interface so you should install and use the focusrite ASIO drivers.
Then if you still struggle please redo the screencap of the audio connections but click on expand all so we see what outs are assigned.

There is a great little app that comes with Windows called the Snipping Tool (Snip & Sketch in win10) that is so much easier that taking pics.
