Going from LE 5 to Cubase 11 Elements on Mac

I’ve been using Cubase LE 5 on a Mac for years but have recently thought to upgrade to Cubase 11 Elements.
Will all my projects still load and work as they are meant to?
I will also have to upgrade my OS to Catalina. Would that have any effect on old files?
