I am editing an interview in WL7 and unfortunately the recording levels were too low. When I increase the volume, white noise from the recording also gets louder. Is there an effective filter in WL7 to reduce or get rid of white noise? I have tried Sonnox De Buzzer without any luck.
Try the Sonnox Denoiser (maybe it’s called de-hisser, cant remember). Also try the Legacy Steinberg Denoiser (in the legacy folder I think).
