Very cool, and evocative of those times, even in what sounds like a little more of a lo-fi recording at points (guessing you went for that sound). Loved the flanging-Sky Pilot by the Animals came to mind.
What are you using for the sitar/sarod type of stuff? If you were playing a real guitar near the start, what did you use? Curious because I have an Electro-Harmonix Ravish Sitar pedal that I’ve used on a few of my things, and I’m curious if I’m hearing that.
Well done, constructed, and played. Happy to have heard this.

Hi there,
Thanks for listening, and taking the time to comment.
Lo-fi - I tend to use emulations of old gear and then turn the gain up to 11!
The sitar is a HALion preset. The guitars are AmpleSound Les Pauls. The drums are GrooveAgent, the tablas and tamboor (however it’s spelt!) are from a sample pack of loops, the only loops I ever use. Everything else is HALion, especially Haliotronic for the mellotrons.
The flanging is courtesy of u-He’s Satin.
Sky Pilot - I actually bought the single in '68! Side one fade out with the pipes and continued on side 2. Those were the days!
Very nice. It does capture that 67-68 vibe. Lots of Beatles/George Martin . I was fortunate to experience this period first hand when music like this was played ON THE RADIO !!!
