GPU load issues. PLEASE fix!

A friendly piece of advice : accept messages that you think may not be “relevant”.
First because this is a public post.
Second because letting others chime in and being nice to them might actually lead to encourage them and others to be nice to you and help you.
Please breathe, and be nice.

Also, this post is relevant to me as I am on NVIDIA Geforce 1070 and do have some weird graphical issues and dropouts.
Several things that helped me:

  • find and disable Nahimic services
  • try close and reopen Cubase when there are issues (Cubase might have a shutdown issue somewhere so a fresh start might help)

To help the user with his/her request, here are the screenshots that were in the zip.
It does show a drastic load difference from Cubase 8 to 14…
So as a note to Steinberg, I do hope that performance is central to further updates.
And if there are graphics cards or other hardware to avoid, it would be extremely helpful to have a centralised knowledge base describing that, as opposed to let users search endlessly through forums after the purchase and the issues arising

with these two messages you just not only contradicted yourself, but also confirmed my words. because: you lost the necessary posts with real important information in off-topic garbage… I already posted screenshots WITHOUT zip, and important additions/comments… so, that’s exactly what I’m talking about.
and secondly, screenshots are usually must be hidden under a spoiler, so please remove them or delete the repetition.

here also your miss understanding. NO this is not public post, it open ONLY because I do not have a personal channel with developers except this forum, and I do not have settings to limit responses only for developers. Not because it is for everyone.
I created this topic as a debug report and not for discussion with users, there is nothing that can be solved by users, except advices for another GPU model…but in my case it’s a laptop, so I don’t have even that option.

Yes it is a public post, this is an open forum where kind people and tech support guys help each other. And yes you are being impolite and unfriendly, I suggest you go look at more posts in this forum and see how nice people express themselves.

Your tone gets more and more inappropriate here.

This is a PUBLIC USER forum and nothing else. If you want to get in touch with developers, send mail to Steinberg support, but do NOT tell users in this forum what they have to do and what not.

I don’t have such a channel, and as far as I know, the developers don’t have such support by email, if you have such an email, and not just a general email for advertising, it would be useful information. and here are the bug report points in creating posts.

I think you can’t read, it’s not me who tells users what to do, it’s ME who is told what to do. I just answer that I did NOT create this topic for users.

i think i clearly never ask for it.. so nothing is clearly here..

no. this is different only in scale, but not in the essence of what is happening, because you did not understand my explanation, when you do not need to force what you are not asked to do, and where you are not invited.

What @JuergenP said.

If I were you I would keep it friendly as @Antoine-B advised you (who was so kind to still offer help despite your inappropriate replies). Please open a support ticket if you don’t want help in this public forum.

Please, change your attitude otherwise you will get flagged rather sooner than later.

You asked for help on a public forum. Several people tried to offer their help. The very clear thing is you are rude to all of them.

Clearly not. Having discussions on the internet and going to someone’s house are utterly different things !! You do what you want online, I am just telling you that with your rude attitude you are ruining your chances of anyone wanting to help you here !! Got that ??

i see here is Fundamental misunderstood - that I created this topic to get help from users, but this is not true. This post was not intended as a discussion. The fact that topic is publicly available is ONLY
because, I want to remind, for the final time the developers do NOT have direct support via email this forum is the only way to write a bug report. If anyone has a direct address of the developers (NOT mistake with sales support, etc.) you might be able to help by sending it to me, I’ll duplicate the topic.
BUT all I want is - to remain topic clean, so that if they decide to fix it - do not mislead by a bunch of off-topic posts from people who haven’t even read to the end, but already rushing to answer*
If there option to close the topic, I would have done it from the start, but I don’t have it.
I have mentioned multiple times that I NEVER require users help, I did not request it - so please don’t oblige me to like it.
this is the core of misunderstanding here.
This topic is aimed exclusively at bug reporting from the start, so you can consider it “private-like”.

Clearly YES, and your tone here is much rougher than mine.
① I repeat, to you many times, this - is - NOT - discussion but you continue to insist on your “public rights” despite my clarifications.
although im not even rude, technically, not yet, I am answering straight, which i understand make discomfiture, but still not insult. and don’t forget that I don’t study english my post straight, yes with some rejection for offtop, but only that, no real hate inside. and even through a translator, so it may looks x2 ruder than it actually is.

②Not everything that is publicly available automatically means that everyone must be happy with you, is your second misunderstanding here, I did not ask for assistance, so please do not oblige me to be happy. and not only you, anybody. The reason: This post was not intended as a discussion. NOT, a small word, but it changes your logic by 180°. you are worried that my posts will ruining something - but your answer are three times more rude and emotional, if you do not notice this, ask gpt. but my post just expressing thoughts straight, and even through a translator, so there is no real rudeness inside.

Hi,
just for clarification - it’s as simple as that:

PUBLIC

  • A post in this forum is by definition open to public discussion
  • A post in this forum with the tag “issue” will more likely be seen by developers or people who will forward the issue. Still, this issue will be discussed/confirmed/not confirmed/solved here in this forum

PRIVATE

  • Contact Steinberg via support ticket
  • Call Steinberg telephone support
