I am running two screens (fullHD) side by side; main screen at left, with Arrange/Edit window; 2nd screen at right with full MixConsole.
In C13.0.51…
- Enable the Meter Bridge up top in the MixConsole.
- Open a compressor from within a Channel Strip module. Set as desired. Notice the red GR meters register activity in the MeterBridge above.
- With your song still playing, you can switch Comps in the Channel Strip and the GR Meters work straight away as expected.
- Click the ‘E’ Edit button on the blue ‘Compressor’ header - I have mine set to open the editor window as a separate pop-up.
- Click again on the edit button to dismiss/close the editor pop-up.
In C14.0.10
- Enable the MeterBridge as above.
- As above, (make sure you are actually compressing something) and notice now the GR meters don’t immediately show. They will only ‘appear’ after opening/closing the MixConsole or toggling the ‘Meter Bridge’ function.
- Switching Comps in the Channel Strip, same thing - MixConsole needs to be closed/re-opened before GR meters appear.
- After opening the compressor editor pop-up, clicking again on the ‘Edit’ button has no effect. You cannot dismiss/close that edit window unless you click on the UI somewhere else completely, or you reach to press the ‘Esc’ key on your keyboard.
Maybe some others can confirm please.?
