Grace note auto detect

is there a way to get Dorico auto detect grace notes while midi recording?

Welcome to the forum, Yves. No, at the moment there’s no way to do this, and nor is there a good way to convert existing rhythmic notes into grace notes, though the latter at least is something we would like to add in a future version.
