The grace notes in the image have not been adjusted in engrave mode. The space between the grace note and the next rhythmic object are very different. I’ve looked through the grace note settings and can’t seem to find anything. Is there a setting that I need to adjust to get them to be the same space between the next object when an accidental is present without having to adjust each one in engrave mode?
Some of this looks like Engraving Options > Accidentals > Gaps > Gap to Left, and some of it is Engraving Options > Notes > Grace Notes > Minimum distance between rightmost grace note and rhythmic item. If you set both of those to 0, then the grace note in bar 1 is right up against the accidental.
I think one issue here is that in bar 2, the minimum distance between grace note and rhythmic item is applied to the two noteheads, since the grace note flag technically doesn’t collide with the E notehead. If you change the E to an F, for example, you’ll see that it moves 1/2 space further to the right, because now Dorico has to provide that same amount of space between the grace note flag and the main notehead, rather than just between the grace note notehead and the main notehead.
So in your current state, the first grace note is affected by both of these engraving options, while the second one is really affected by neither.
