I upgraded to Absolute 5 from 4 on 26th Nov 2022. I believe I should be able to install Halion 7 as I am within the grace period to do so - I asked Greg Ondo and he confirmed 1st Nov was the grace period date. Also is it just Halion 7 or does the grace period mean I can upgrade to Absolute 6 for free too?
How can I go about this please as when I go to the website it says I have to pay £85 to upgrade.

You get Absolute 6 as a grace period update. Absolute is licenced as a whole.
Log into My Steinberg and check the Vouchers section. If you have an Absolute 6 voucher, copy and paste the code into the dialog that opens when you press “Enter your Download Access Code” in the top right of the Steinberg Download Assistant window.
You do not need to download the 30GB of HALion 7 content when upgrading from a HALion 6 installation- just install the HALion 7 application, FM Lab, Tails and all the updates for existing content showing in Steinberg Download Assistant. You probably also want to install HALion Sonic 7.
thanks very much David. I don’t have a voucher there though - only some old ones which have expired. Is there a backlog steinberg are working through? Not sure why it wouldn’t be there…
Does your Absolute 5 licence show in the Products, Show eLicenser-based products section of My Steinberg? If not, open eLicenser Control Center, run Registration → Register all eLicensers at MySteinberg, then run the Maintenance process.
If the Absolute 5 licence shows in My Steinberg, I would contact Support.
