Grace period upgrade from 8.5?

I upgraded to 8.5 not long ago (around Feb.). Is there a grace period for applying that cost towards 9? I can’t find any info anywhere, but I would really hope so, since I just paid for 50% of the v9 upgrade!

I had to dig for it again and I already knew about it so don’t feel silly for missing it. Over in the WL8 forum it mentions the grace period in one of the posts announcing WL9 but I also didn’t see it when simply browsing the Steinberg website.
