Gracenote Playback

Hi

I understand that playback is in its infancy, however there is a feature of playback which is a bugbear in some other notation software

One issue is gracenotes at the beginning of a measure/beginning of a piece.
Other notation software will try to ‘steal’ time by starting gracenote playback during a previous beat.
This can lead to some rather nasty noises (eg a flute playing two notes at once) rather than the gracenote played gracefully.

Any clue as to how Dorico will handle gracenote playback, and whether or not such things can be configurable

… and obviously I hope that the playback of a grace can be completely different from what is written… :wink: Think at baroque embellishments… :slight_smile:
