Hi all, when I enter some notes in the score editor I get this:
I want the tied quavers to be displayed as a single crotchet. I think the correct procedure to do this (though I may be wrong) is to select the notes then choose properties then set type equal to ‘graphic’ and press ‘apply.’ However, when I do this the result is:
This is almost correct, but there are now too many rests, in fact there are five beats in this four beat bar. All the notes and rests are in layer 1, and playback is correct. But does anyone know how to sort the rests out please?

The easiest way is to use the Cut Notes tool.
