Hi,
I was recently making some jazz piano harmony worksheets for my students using Pages.app. I think it would be so nice if Dorico could copy the selected graphic slice(s) to the clipboard choosing the desired format, PNG, PDF etc… This way I could paste directly to Pages.app… instead of Export… browse for the exported PDF slice drag it to Pages.app.
By the way, how about dragging the slices from Dorico to any desktop publishing app?

There’s not really a standardised way to handle dragging and dropping between completely different applications, so it’s not completely clear how we could implement that in such a way that you could drag an image directly out of Dorico and into another application.
But I agree it would be helpful to be able to copy graphics to the clipboard, and perhaps that is something we might be able to achieve in future.

copying to the clipboard would be just fine if we don’t intend to store/save the slices.
