Graphics

I have a score in which the composer used graphic doodles to indicate a ‘solo ad lib’ (see attachment).
Is there a way to do something similar in Dorico?

You would be best served creating the music in Dorico, exporting as PDF, and then adding the graphics in a drawing app, like Inkscape, Affinity Designer, or Adobe Illustrator.

I really have no idea how I would react to that as a performer…

That’s too funny! I love it…
What about a graphics frame?

I think this is the purpose! Making the performer creative!:))))

I’m curious: does everyone (or at least the soloist) read off the score? The moment in m. 6 seems especially challenging to notate if players are reading separate parts. I’m not sure how that “hanging” floral-looking piece that extends to the lowest staves would/could be handled in Dorico.
