Very sad, and I’m wondering which of the vices caught up to him. He had already had a liver transplant. He played a private party last summer for a well-off friend, and my band actually opened the show for him. He didn’t appear to be on his last legs, but it was just a couple of months later that he suspended concerts. The band sounded great, by the way. RIP.
