Grid Type In Key Editor - Grayed Out - Showing Bars & Beats

I’m brand new and experiencing the usual confusion. I went to edit a midi note and checked that snap is on, and wanted to check my Grid Type In Key Editor - but its Grayed Out - Showing Bars & Beats at the top. The MIDI I’ve placed on the track is playing, so it must be an actual MIDI clip.

Can someone tell me why I can’t see or edit the Grid Type or put in my 8th note grid setting that I want. (its showing a 16th note grid at the moment).

I found the solution. The project and arrangement view had the right entry, but seconds showed in the key editor for some reason. ! ! !
