I don’t use GA very often to trigger my Yamaha DTX drums, I tend to use Addictive Drums instead (and I don’t have any problems with that).

When I connect GA standalone via USB, I can see MIDI input activities in the top left corner when I hit the drums, but nothing happens on the kit (no audio and not in the user interface). Audio works otherwise.

I have activated “Hardware Control Mapping” as before and selected YAMAHA DTX, without success. It used to work. I also can’t find a menu where I can refine the mapping. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi! Are you sure that your midi routing is correct? Sometimes Cubase (or other plugin host) will direct incoming midi to a different channel. Groove Agent lamp will blink, but the pads expect a different channel.

To create your own mappings, right click on a pad to reassign the trigger note manually or learn it. Once you are done, you can save the assignment.
