Hello,
Groove Agent ONE is no longer installed by default with Cubase Pro 8.
You have two ways to solve it:
Move the Groove Agent ONE files from the Cubase 7.5 install-specific folder to the VST3 shared folder
Open the Cubase Pro 8 DVD or ISO image and copy the Groove Agent files to the VST3 shared folder
Install specific folder:
PC: C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 7.5\VST3
Mac: Go → Applications → Right-click on Cubase 7.5 → Show Package Content
Shared folder:
PC: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
Mac: Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/Steinberg
Would be useful to add your system specs to your signature.
I’m moving this to the General Forum.
Kind regards,
Thanks Fabio. I did not copied the files to the “common files” will try to do that. Because just copy to VST3 of 8 Pro didn’t work.
Also, if relevant, I do not have DVD or ISO files. I went from 7.5 to 8pro.
I use windows 7 64 bit.
Thanks.
Shouldn’t you also move the Groove Agent One folder from
Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase 7.5\VST XMLs
as well ?
@dan: that should have worked as well. Please, make sure you move or copy both the .vst3 and .bin files. If the problem persists after a restart (and rescan) of Cubase, perhaps you need to trash the blacklist files in the Preferences.
