Heya, I been on cubase since 5. Got every update. 15 is best yet! In groove agent, I’ve set the sample loop playback off as I only want to gate the sample as I quickly press or long hold the sample trigger. I’m finding even with loop turned off, the samples play longer than when I let go off the midi pad. Almost like there is a delay. I’m trying to record very short micro stabs of a sample, but it keeps playing longer than I want.
I’ll check it out when I get in the studio on weekend. But it doubt it. Definitely when I let go of the key or pad or keyboard button, the indicator line that passes through the sample keeps moving up to half a second or longer after I let the trigger go. I haven’t tried any external vsts or synths to test if it is midi connection latency issue…
