Groove Agent SE 6 crashing with certain kits

When I load some of my previously created kits into Groove Agent SE 6 and then remove the track in Cubase 15 Pro I get an instant crash to desktop.

These kits work fine with:

Cubase 13 Pro & Groove Agent SE 5

Cubase 13 Pro & Groove Agent SE 6

Cubase 15 Pro & Groove Agent SE 5

However Cubase 15 Pro and Groove Agent SE 6 instant crash to desktop - I can reproduce 100% of the time.

The crash is in Cubase.

Are these custom created kits? Do all of them crash? If not, do you know, what is specific for the kits, which are crashing?

They’re all custom kits. Only 3 out of around 20 crash. They all contained a certain set of samples I’d recorded about a year ago. I pointed the samples back to themseleves.. i.e selected Replace Sample but just pointed it to itself.

I then saved the kits and they didn’t cause a crash when the track is removed.

However these kits no longer load in SE 5 so it looks like new kits are not backwards compatible?
