I have Groove Agent 5 installed.
Opening Dorico, the popup box:
“An essential component used by Dorico for playback has not yet been found. Please run the Steinberg Download Assistant and install the following: Groove Agent SE 5 - Instrument”
I do not want to install Groove Agent SE 5. How can I use my Groove Agent 5 with Dorico instead of installing the stupid edition?
Oh, apparently we have missed here something. For HALion you can tell in the Preferences dialog which derivation to use, stupid or full version. Now, I guess we need something similar for Groove Agent as well.
Actually, when you ignore the warning message and simply go ahead, how does Dorico behave in terms of loading VSTInstruments? I mean, e.g. if you create a new project from Jazz Trio template, what gets loaded for the drum player?

Actually I did write ‘stupid’ intentionally, because just recently someone else made this joke about Groove Agent SE being the Stupid Edition, and I wanted to pick up on this. Sorry for the confusion and my silly sense of humor.
