Groove agent SE - Missing content

Hello,

how can I solve this?

At the bottom it says:
Missing content: FCPSMT152GASEAcousticStudioKit.vstsound

Reinstalling Groove Agent SE 5 - Content did not help.

I went to /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/Groove Agent/VST Sound/
The mentioned file isn’t in there.

But I find a file
FCP_SMT_152_GASE_Acoustic_Studio_Kit.vstsound
in ~Downloads/Steinberg/OSX/Groove Agent SE - Content/

If I double-click that file, the Steinberg Library Manager pops up and says “No action was performed! The corresponding VST sounds are already registered.”

It feels as if I am caught in a loop..

Have a look under /Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VST Sound

Is there that FCP_SMT_152GASE_Acoustic_Studio_Kit.vstsound file to be found? That’s where it is on my machine.

Also please launch the Steinberg Library Manager and see where that one thinks that file is installed.

Hi Ulf,
thank you for answering.
I launched the Library Manager. There were two red alarm icons, which told me that files were spread over different locations and I clicked to consolidate them to the default locations. Then I had another look into the VST Sounds folder, where it now showed the file with an additional (01) ending.
I followed your advice to check for the file in the Library Manager.
Now there was another red warning triangle, this time at the top. When I clicked onto it, it showed the file FCP_SMT_152GASE_Acoustic_Studio_Kit.vstsound (without the (01) addition) and a new dialogue popped up to tell me that this file was missing or unregistered. I could check something, but it did not tell me exactly what would happen.
I restarted Dorico, the warning about that missing file came again.
I had a look into the Library folder. This time that file with the (01) addition was gone again.
I don’t know how to proceed now. Thank you for additional help.
The file does exist in the Downloads folder.
And if I double click that file I get this window:

And what if you click OK in that dialog? That should solve your problem.

It says „VST Sounds registered successfully“
And: problem solved, Dorico starts without hiccups now.
Thank you very much Ulf!
