Every time I load one of the studio SE kits, the cpu goes through the roof
Any ideas why this could be?
These are the acoustic agent kits.
They can really give your cpu a hammering. The factory acoustic agent kits use very long samples, so polyphony can go through the roof quickly. Under the options tab you can lower the max voices which should help a bit.
Upgrading to Cubase 8.5 also seems to have had a positive effect.
There is also a new groove agent maintenance update. Maybe that will help.
