Groove Agent SE5 won't start as plugin or as standalone

I recently upgraded to Cubase Pro 14 from Pro 11, and it was working fine all yesterday but today Cubase is refusing to open my project, getting stuck on the ‘Loading MixConsole’ stage.

I’ve managed to identify Groove Agent SE5 as the cause of the crashing by disabling all plugins in Safe Mode and saving different versions of the project without various plugins. If I create a new project and try to add Groove Agent, Cubase freezes.

The Groove Agent SE5 standalone app also isn’t loading (just gets stuck on the first loading screen). I’ve tried reinstalling it / restarting the computer but this isn’t working, and there don’t appear to be any Groove Agent SE5 crash dumps anywhere.

Any solutions? My project (due next week) uses quite a lot of Groove Agent instruments so I’m keen to get this sorted fairly quick..! Thanks!

Managed to work out the solution - there was some kind of double install that wasn’t showing up on my (Windows 10) add/remove programs for Groove Agent. I went into Download Manager and deleted all the downloaded Groove Agent files for both Cubase 14 and 11, and then the reinstall worked!
