Okay, I’m pulling my hair out…and there isn’t that much left. Here’s the scenario. When I record a string track ( BBCSO Pro ) in Protools Groove Agent is triggered as well as the string instrument even though I don’t have Groove Agent as a track on the session. When I play the recorded section back the drum sound is no longer present. I’ve tried a zillion things but I can’t get rid of the drum sound. It obviously gets irritating when I’m trying to record just the string sound. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Kind regards, Glen
It sounds like your midi input is being sent to several locations. Do you have the stand-alone version of Groove Agent running in the background somewhere?
Johnny…thanks for responding…just after I posted I figured it out. I had both Protools and Dorico open so midi was being sent to Groove Agent in Dorico. Your comment was accurate. Once again, thanks for taking the time. Kind Regards, Glen
