Groove Agents Question

I just got Cubase 7.5 and I have a dumb question. What is the difference between Groove Agent One and Groove Agent SE 4 ? I haven’t really gotten into them yet, but they seem very similar to me. Why are both needed ?

SE4 is the newer version, They are, as you say, similar but GA1 doesn’t have effects whereas SE4 does, the sound control of individual pads is a little better in SE4. All the GA1 kits work in SE4 but not the reverse, there are one or two extra kits in SE4
