yeah, I’d love to have a more concrete way to manage layer groups.
In Inkscape, there are layers and objects and, once you get used to organizing your job that way, it is very effective
I’m struggling to drag groups to the “level” I want to with SL…it’s not a huge deal…just a bit of a time soak with crossed fingers

have to drag child to parent it the order you want as far as I can tell
ok…learning as I go…it’s not necessarily in the user guide
lft-clk on the “space” to the left of a highlighted layer/ group color choice/collapse/expand button allows more accurate drag n drop in the nesting
