Hi I am creating a new GROUP (named BUS FX) which I am trying to route the output from various FX channels to. It simply does not show up in the list of available Groups? I have done this a few times and done a full restart, but for some reason does not work. Any ideas?
When I add a NEW FX, the GROUP option does show. Bug?
No bug, Cubase prevents feedback loops.
Check the entire routing.
Is the automatic send assignment for new channels activated?

Yes I worked it out. It’s because I have changed default setting to add “Send to Effects” choice on any new track/group I create. So when I create a new GROUP “FX”, it has Sends preselected that I am trying to send FROM so logical it blocks that. BUT what is not quite logical is that by default these sends - while pre-selected - are INACTIVE/OFF. So I would expect the behaviour of blocking to only come into play when I try to ACTIVATE any such Send, to then block the loop. It’s ok as is now that I know, but pretty sure I’m not the only stumbling here.
