Old thread, but for those interested:
Selected tracks in the MixConsole and right clicking shows options to:
- “Add Group Channel to Selected Channels…”
- “Add FX Channel to Selected Channels…”
- “Add VCA Fader…”
These options aren’t present when selected tracks in the Project window. However, there is a standard macro for “Selected Tracks to new Folder and Add Group Channel”, or you can set up a key command for “Add Track to Selected: Group Channel”
This certainly speeds up routing for my workflow! Thanks to Hugh for pointing this out
