Groups not showing in lower Mixer. Even when "groups" is checked

Groups are not showing in lower mixer of C15.0.20. And there is no longer an option to open the side selector to enable which things show. (see attached screenshot).

It seems to be a bug in the new update to Nuendo 15 as well. You can’t see any GROUPS in the lower mixer. In both Cubase 15.0.20 and Nuendo 15.0.20. It’s fine in C14 and N14.

Hi,
there are a number of threads about that topic - created over the past 24 hours. You’ll find a couple of workarounds which might or might not work for you…

Can’t find them.

I am terribly sorry, I misread your post!
I thought it was about something else that has popped up in a lot of threads over and over again! I should’ve read your post more carefully.

Now, that I did, can you please check:
If you look at these tabs in your Project Window:
Are Project Window and Mix Console synchronized?
grafik

If this is the case, please have a look at the Visibility tab in the middle:
Group tracks reside alongside the Stereo Out under the same arrow.
grafik

If you fold it you can still see the Stereo Out in the Lower Mixer Zone but you won’t see your Groupchannel (‘Grp Test’) anymore

In this case, the filter options don’t apply because there’s nothing to filter in the first place.

As you have surely noticed by now, everything works as expected here.
Again, sorry for my premature reply earlier before. Hopefully, this might be of help to you.

EDIT: Cubase organizes Group channels in the way depicted above by default. If you reorganize them in your project window afterwards they don’t have to necessarily reside under that tree alongside the Stereo Out anymore. A lot of exceptions to take into account.

I’ve changed the way I use the lower mixer. Instead of it being static and only showing GROUPS, now I have it following what folder I’ve selected. A new way of working but I like it. All good. Nice to learn new work flows.
