System Environment:
-
Application: Nuendo 15
-
OS: macOS Tahoe 26.1
-
Hardware: MacBook Pro (M4 Max)
Steps to Reproduce:
-
Open a project and load multiple VST Instruments.
-
Open the Right Zone and navigate to the VSTi tab.
-
Click the Settings (cogwheel) icon in the VSTi Rack toolbar.
-
Click Show VST Quick Controls for One Slot Only to toggle its state.
-
Close the menu, then click the Settings icon again to verify the selection.
-
Repeat the toggle process multiple times.
Expected Result: The checkmark next to “Show VST Quick Controls for One Slot Only” should reliably toggle on and off, accurately reflecting the active state of the function upon reopening the menu.
Actual Result: The menu checkmark fails to update reliably or visually glitches. Clicking the option multiple times results in inconsistent visual feedback regarding whether the setting is enabled or disabled, even though the underlying expansion/collapse functionality continues to operate.
Workaround: Disregard the menu checkmark state and manually expand a VSTi slot to verify if the function is active.
