Hi guys, I can’t find this function (show hold) in the properties panel:
## Procedure
1. Select the guitar bends on which you want to hide/show hold lines. You can do this on notation staves and tablature in Write mode and Engrave mode.
2. In the Properties panel, activate/deactivate Show hold in the Guitar Bends group.
I can only see pre-bend and post-bend areas, but nowhere does it offer “show hold”:
You’ve selected the note. Try selecting the bends.
we do need a proper bend editor like in Guitar Pro, handling bends in Dorico is really not intuitive and easy at all…

Along a similar vein… I’m attempting, without success, to get Dorico to play back a guitar part in which the lower note is bent and the upper note is not. I’ve tried with both notes in the same voice and with the notes separated into different voices (see attached).
Am I failing because a) it’s simply not possible, b) I am a moron, or c) mysterious 3rd reason…?
The problem here is to do with how MIDI messages work. Guitar bends are played back using MIDI pitch-bend, but MIDI pitch-bend affects everything on the same MIDI channel. If you want to play this back you’ll have to put the different voices on different MIDI channels, using independent voice playback. See Steinberg
