Guitar music. v5. When I attach fingering to the top voice, if there are fingerings on the lower voice, the top voice fingering gets moved to the wrong place, below. See attached. I realize that I can go move it to the correct location in Engrave mode, but this strikes me as a bug.
Dorico keeps the fingerings in the right order, but by default it will shift the whole stack up or down and will attempt to put the numbers on staff lines. You might try changing this Engraving Option if you prefer a different way of resolving this sort of problem:
I tried all of the options. The problem is that the upstem voice need the number close to the note. At a quick glance it is hard to see that the number 2 is associated with the note D in the example. The 2 is directly in front of the notes B; the 0 is in front of the note D, and the 3 is orphaned. No change in Engraving Options changes any of this.
Yes, that worked for the example above. Thank you. It did not, however, work for the second example, which looked like the attached image when I used this position option on the stems-up note. The numbers 0 & 3 are placed on top of one another.
