I have two harmonics played at the same time (as a dyad) on the 5th and 6th strings with drop D tuning. I try to notate the natural harmonic ° symbol above the upper note, but the ‘placement’ option will not take. After I set it in one view and change to the other (between WRITE and ENGRAVE modes) it reverts to no setting. See attached image.

Could you attach a short project showing the issue, and then we could take a look? You can copy and paste just that one bar into a new project, or cut it down to just that bar - that’s all we need to be able to see what’s going on.
By isolating the issue, I discovered what I believe is causing the problem. The downstem voice contains two notes with parameters set for natural harmonics. Their duration is a whole note. I am not able to get the placement of the harmonic symbol to take effect. In other words, I set the upper note placement to above, and the lower placement to below, but they both stay below. When I shorten the note duration of the downstem voice to a quarter note, the problem disappears and the placement takes effect. See attached project.
