I am having trouble with LH fingering disappearing on notes which also have RH fingering and when I select ‘Stopping Finger Position Outside staff’ in the Properties panel.
As I add RH fingering, the LH disappears.
Is there a way round this?
The only way I can get this to work is to repeat all the pitches in another voice, add the fingerings, flip the stems, then move them in Engrave mode so they overlap - far too much work. I suspect there is some setting that we are missing - it shouldn’t be this difficult.

But I agree; somewhere there ought to be an easy way of producing a good result with Dorico’s inbuilt properties and tools.
At the moment, Dorico doesn’t support showing both the left-hand and right-hand fingering for fretted instruments outside the staff, I’m afraid.
No huge problem - I can still use rpearl’s technique where necessary.
I don’t often feel the need to show both - just in more exceptional circumstances.
Good to know we’re not missing something obvious.
