Guitar writing with consideration for capos

Hello Again,

I am writing a guitar part that is played with a capo on the guitar at fret 1. How do I indicate this on both the standard notation and the tablature ?

I’d start by checking out the manual: Steinberg

The main “gotcha” is that the capo settings for the notation/tab are set in the instrument, but are separate from the capo settings for chord symbols, which are set in the player. This is to allow capo chords to be used above non-guitar staves (e.g. piano).
