there is nothing special in this project. just sound design work. so like 10 eq’s and one limiter. maybe reverb and pro-c2

i did everything. i updated rme drivers. changed them to kernel. tried cubase 14. its a bit better. a lot of tests. turn off turn on external monitor. like everything i could do
Compared empty projects:
- Cubase 14: ~7% CPU
- Cubase 15: ~15% CPU
Unfortunately it gets worse with every version. I did setup the same session that maxed Cubase in Reaper and haven’t even touched 10% there. They should really adress that.
