What do we suppose it will be on August 4 that doesn’t use a dongle, works on pc or mac and is very 1999?
Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation.
You beat me to it! ![]()
Ha
I fancy a black and white Cubase like those old Atari ones.
They’re going to adjust the prices of all instruments as if it was 1999 !?!
… and they’ll be in Deutschmark!
In 1999, the average computer had around 0,01 GB RAM.
If Steinberg introduced an option to temporarily switch back to the old Cubase VST code there would be a lot of unused RAM during these sessions. Steinberg could use these resources to form an AI network and finally built … drum roll…
so I think their old discontinued vsti are probarly made for Halion and given away for free with Halion v7.5
I think you could be onto something here as it makes sense with the current info.
I think Steinberg have already re-released as many old VSTi as they have:
https://o.steinberg.net/en/support/unsupported_software/vst_classics_vol_1_2.html
Model-E, Karlette, VB-1 and Neon are free, unsupported downloads.
A Millennium Bug Panic VST then. Activates on new years day.
Dongle free old Cubases?
I’ve got a Cubase-free old dongle?
If this is a pun then yes, probably…![]()
I’m gonna get flagged…
I think I have like three of them
.
Pricing wont change, Halion is still the same price today, as it was when it was released 25 years ago..
You were right from the start
