I needed to filter on breaks, but that edit>filter was missing. If I choose another menu and then go back to edit>filter, then all the filters are available.
How reproducible is this problem, Ed? I’ve never seen it myself, nor seen any other reports of it.
When I restart my machine it’s still there. It happens on different files. The write menu has the same behavior on occasion. This is happening on a windows 10 laptop with an external monitor. This never happened on my main desktop machine, which is currently being rebuilt.
Perhaps it’s somehow due to the specific screen resolution. What size is your external display in pixels, and what scale factor are you using?

It’s a Samsung SyncMaster T260HD - LCD monitor - 25.5", Full HD 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. In Windows I have the display resolution set to “1920 x 1200 (Recommended).” “Change the size of text…” = “100%”
