You can certainly use both HALion 6 and HALion Sonic 3 with Dorico, but Dorico won’t currently automatically load sounds into either of these plug-ins in the same way as it does for HALion Sonic SE (which is included with Dorico). This is something we intend to change in the future, i.e. to provide an option to make Dorico use either HALion or HALion Sonic instead of HSSE if you have either of them installed.
