Normally I just load into Halion from Media bay in Cubase, but I loaded the standalone earlier, and tried to load from the browser inside Halion , and it wouldnt’ show anything.
In the results colomn there was nothing, in ANY folder. But if you right click and open file, it shows all the samples.
Samples I am trying to load are 24 bit WAV’s .
Using latest Halion 7, with Windows 11.
This also happens in the VST version inside Cubase, only way to load a sample into the sample instrument of Halion is from the media bay or direct drag n drop from a windows folder. How can I fix this ?
I’m not sure if this is your problem but the first thing I do when this happens to me is to ensure I haven’t left something in one of the search filters that might be constraining my results.
OK this is fixed now, no idea why, but I unselected the folder in mediabay, and reselected it, and it populated all the samples and then they show up in Halion…
